Wild Flower Walk

Walk among the flowers

Walk among the flowers

Since the long hot summer days have left us we advise taking a pot for the Blackberries on the walk now! But next summer you can look forward to the return of the Flowers, and the walk can be enjoyed what ever the weather!

At Haw Wood Farm we are lucky enough to have a huge array of beautiful Wild Flowers.

In our new Woodland, which is right here on site, we have created a Wild Flower walk for you to enjoy with all the family.

Why not take our Wild Flower identification Tick Sheet with you on your walk and learn the names of all these gorgeous flowers!

We will be giving away packets of Wild Flower seeds to anyone who completes our Tick Sheet. You can plant these in an area of your own garden or in a pot and recreate a little piece of Haw Wood Farm.

The natural way in which the area has been allowed to grow has left a mass of wild flowers that provide a home and feeding ground for countless insects.

Look out for the flutter of butterfly wings, the buzzing of bees and the hum of grasshoppers.
