Birds and Bees!
We know we have an incredibly diverse selection of bird life at Haw Wood Farm and so if you like to do a bit of bird watching this is the perfect place for you!
You will regularly hear our Turtle Doves and Owls and may well see them too!
We like to encourage children to spot the more common birds on our Bird Feeder . This Bird Hide made from a fallen tree has won us a Special Distinction Award from the David Bellamy Conservation.
You will find it in our Picnic area!

Bird Watching.

Bird Hide
The Picnic area is also home to our wild area where you will find Camping for small creatures!
We have also made Cafe for our resident hedgehogs!
We have also added a homemade hide to our Grazing Meadow (for dog walking).
You don't need to have a dog to take a walk around this beautiful meadow where you may well spot our Barn Owls hunting in the early evening.
Here you can watch the butterflies, bees and birds and maybe spot a deer making a dash across the meadow!
