The most recent Government announcement outlining how the restrictions will ease over the next few months allows us all to make some tentative plans for Camping and Caravanning holidays this summer.
Current guidance allows us to open on April 12th for Self-Contained units. This means there will be no shared facilities available. We expect there to be further clarifications nearer the time on the details of this. Our advice at the moment is not to book unless you can be completely self-contained, without the need to use either bathrooms or wash up facilities. We will keep you updated as we hear more. At this time a maximum of 6 people or two households can meet outside.
From May 17th at the earliest guidance allows us to open more fully. From this date we will be opening the bathrooms and wash-up facilities with the same capacity restrictions and distancing regulations as last summer. From this date it is possible for a maximum of 6 people or two households to mix indoors. This does not change Haw Wood Farms policy on group bookings, and you should not book more than two pitches together without contacting the management.
From June 21st at the earliest, the Government hopes to be able to lift many restrictions on social contact and remove legal limits on the number of people together at one time.
Please read the following information carefully before you begin your journey to Haw Wood Farm.
1.Be confident it is right to travel.
Advice and movement restrictions during the Coronavirus outbreak are subject to change at short notice on Government advice. Please check our website before travelling to make sure that Haw Wood Farm is continuing to accept touring guests.
If you are showing any symptoms of Coronavrirus on the day of your planned trip (these include but are not limited to, Fever, Sore throat, cough and loss of taste and smell) please DO NOT leave home. You MUST NOT come to Haw Wood Farm if you are in any doubt, as you will be risking the safety of other guests who may be more vulnerable that you.
2.Cancellations and Refunds
In the event of cancellation due to Coronavirus restrictions or for self-isolation, a full refund will be given. As an alternative you may also transfer your booking to another date. Where the new booking dates are a higher price, the additional prevailing rate for the stay will be due. This rebooking policy is only available for cancellations related to genuine Coronavirus restrictions. It is not available for cancellations related to weather or other reasons.
We will expect everyone onsite to adhere to the recommended Social Distancing rules and the current regulations. There will be markers around the common areas, but it is your responsibility to maintain a safe distance between you and your neighbours at your pitch. Anyone who we consider to be flouting these rules and causing a danger to themselves and other guests will be asked to leave immediately and without any refund.
We want to be able to keep your children as safe as we can. The entrance area will be fenced so that on entering, children will pass by a hand sanitising station. There may be a limit on the number of children in the park at any one time and we may need to impose a time restriction. There will also be hand sanitising on exiting the play area, although we also suggest washing hands at this point. It is your responsibility to supervise your children and ensure they follow these instructions. The play area may be subject to closure at any time either temporarily for cleaning or permanently if we feel necessary.
5.Onsite Coronavirus policies.
Please be assured that we are continually reviewing our measures to keep us Covid compliant and Secure. Before arriving at Haw Wood Farm you should receive an additional email with the current restrictions and advice to help you plan for a safe and relaxing holiday at Haw Wood Farm. Please note that receiving this additional information does not guarantee we will be open and you must check before travelling.
Thank you for your understanding and your continued support during this difficult time.
